I just ran across this picture from a few months ago and felt compelled to post it

Super Snacker

Beth is making a costume for a Super Hero party Isabella is attending this weekend. Looks pretty good for designing and constructing it on the fly. She's Mary Marvel, Shazam's Little sister.

Kidspace Children's Museum, Pasadena, CA

As you may notice in some of Isabella's facial expressions, she has a flair for asserting her desires, often using the phrase mine, or no mama.  In the padded play area at Kidspace, she commandeered a selection of toys.  She loved the puppets and balls and the wooden and soft cars.  At one point, she was having a difficult time keeping other kids from all of her toys - her hands are still quite small after all and could only hold so many at once.  

As a special note to other first time parents, be aware that swim diapers DO NOT contain the urine, only the nuggets, as I learned when Isabella stood up and left a giant pool of piss on their floor!  Who knew.

Here are just a few amusing things that exit Isabella's mouth these days:

kiki monchu = cookie monster

sometimes she'll run around screaming, "monchu coming!"

oh casey = go crazy

chain chu = thank you

ho jew = pick me up; as in, do you want me to 'hold you'?

raddit = rabbit

fock = either frog or fork

poon = spoon

fah = frida

tah = stella

and she's recently added, "i'm coming" and "thank you much" to her repertoire.

This is our first true foray into the blogosphere so I figured we'd kick it off with a bunch of pictures that are fairly recent.
